Interpreting booths (ISO 4043:2016 compliant)
With over 50 booths (all ISO4043 and ISO4043:2016 compliant) Abalingua Conference is currently the largest provider of simultaneous translation equipment in Spain and one of the largest in Europe, and the only AV company in Spain providing ISO 4043:2016 compliant booths.
The 4043 and 4043:2016 ISO standards set the requirements and recommendations for the manufacturing of interpreting booths. These booths are portable and can be moved and set up in rooms where there are no fixed booths. They follow a strict standard regarding sound insulation, as well as size and air circulation. All this to ensure a high-quality product to offer a professional interpreting service.

Digital Receivers (BOSCH / DIS)
Abalingua Conference currently owns the largest and most up to date stock of simultaneous translation equipment, in Spain and one of the largest in Europe, totaling a staggering 5,000 receivers for simultaneous translation.
Most of the receivers we own are BOSCH Integrus, but we also have a large number of DIS receivers among other brands. BOSCH is the most commonly used brand in the European market, and the one we’ve been using the longer. All our techs attend BOSCH taught courses regularly to make sure we are updated on the latest technology.
We have receivers that can transmit up to 32 channels, which allows us to provide our services without any problem whatsoever in large congresses with a lot of languages being interpreted at the same time. From small works councils to large spaces where massive events are held, our digital receivers can always provide a perfect sound quality.

Abalingua Conference Equipment has recently purchased several dozen SHURE MXCW640 wireless microphones as a part of the Microflex Complete Wireless Digital Conference System that we have also added to our stock.

Simultaneous Interpretation Portable Systems
Abalingua Conference Equipment can provide 2 different systems appropriate for use when interpretation is needed for a group that will move between separated spaces.
Sennheiser Infoport TourGuide System
Each Sennheiser Infoport portable system briefcase consists of 20 receivers and a microphone. It is a portable interpreting system, with which there is no need for equipment setup booth, interpreter desk, CCU, or derig, as well as no need for technical assistance as all our interpreters have been trained on the use of this system and can operate it themselves.
It is especially appropriate for small meetings or for guided visits where there will be a group of people moving between spaces. The advantages are clear: no equipment setup needed, no technical assistance required (our interpreters will operate it) and the freedom of movement (provided they move together in a group).
- Only appropriate for small groups, if the group is large it will always be better and cheaper to use the booth system.
- Distance, the interpreter must be at a distance less than50 meters away from the people who are receiving the interpretation on their If the distance is larger than 50 meters, signal quality problems may appear.
This is an in-house developed system, and it is actually a system that can be used both as a “fixed” system in events with interpreting booths or also as a portable system where the interpreter carries a portable transmitting microphone with him/her.
After years of using several portable systems, Abalingua decided to step up the plate and develop its own system, with the vision of a system that could be both used as portable as well as fixed system, with the versatility of being used in guided visits as well as a regular receiver in large events, in large venues or in open spaces. We listed the pros and cons of the systems we had used before and achieved reaching all the pros on that list, while at the same time getting rid of the cons.
Some of the issues we identified as being a problem on the portable systems we had been using for years were :

Portability: The size of our Abasystem receivers is much smaller and lighter than other available systems nowadays. It always surprises our clients how clear the signal is and how many advantages our system has over other portable systems. As soon as an interpreter tries our system, he becomes enchanted with it and does never go back to asking for any other system. Some interpreters like to take the receivers with them on a backpack, where they can take many receivers in a small space. Some other clients prefer the 40-50-60 unit suitcases we provide these receivers with. These suitcases can be checked in as cabine luggage if they need to be flown, which makes Abasystem even easier to move around.
Battery life: Abasystem guarantees an excellent battery life, as our receivers can be use in seervices with long hours. You can expect to have the receivers working for 5 days straight in 8-10 hours daily usage. No need to recharge batteries, just change them into a pair of new AA batteries and you are ready to go for another 5 days. We have designed the receivers so that the screen blinks when there is need to change the batteries, avoiding unnecessary battery changes.
Number of Channels: This isn’t usually a problem with portable systems, but we have ecncountered several occasions where there were several groups roaming in the same area and with the traditional portable systems you had to be very careful to avoid intereferences if there were more than 5-6 languages being interpreted into , while with Abasystem we can guarantee 30 languagesw working side-by-side with no interference problem whatsoever.
Receiver loss cost: This is a good one. We had always been astonished at the cost clients had to pay when receivers were lost. Same happened with the microphones, which are even more expensive. Any event that had worked fine could be tarnished by the fact that the client had to pay a high sum of money to account for receiver loss. This was one of the things we had very clear we wanted to tackle from the beginning. We achieved bringing down the cost of receiver loss to just a fraction of what it had traditionally costed, and brought down the cost of microphone loss as well.

In Abalingua Conference Equipment we pride ourselves on being constantly renewing and upgrading our equipment to make sure we provide our clients only with the latest state of the art audio visual equipment. We have recently renewed most of our stock by investing in top of the line material.
We currently can provide a dozen video projectors from the best brands in the market and with brightness from 1,200 to 20,000 lumens.
The kind of projector that is a fit for an event will depend on many variables, but to decide what is the right brightness we can focus on three aspects. If the projection will take place indoors or outdoors, if it is indoors, the brightness of the room, and finally, the size of the screen where we want to show our projections.

An extremely important factor in any event are the microphones that are used in it, as they are the ones capturing the speakers voice and transmitting its message to the audience. Abalingua has a wide range of microphones, always from the best brands and always keeping in mind the specific needs each client has for their events.

Abalingua has a wide range of projection screens, frontal or retro, set in tripods or frames. 16:9 or 4:3 formats, all our screens are covered by a black fabric so that there is no gap between the floor and the screen.
We are able to provide a wide range of sizes (3mX4m (3X4), 3,1 X 1,75 (16:9), 2,4 X 1,8m (4:3) 2m X 1,5m (3:4)) among others.
If your event requires of projection screen, it is probable that you may require of projectors as well.
Plasma-LCD-LED screens from 20″ to 90″
Abalingua currently has TFT – LCD – LED – Plasma screens in a wide range of sizes, starting from small 22″ monitors to the impressively huge 90″ 4K tvs. This 90″ screens, which we have recently acquired have impressed the atendees to the events where they have been on display.
All our screens have an excellent resolution, as well as brightness and contrast. We rent and install screens anywhere in Europe. Your event won’t be the same if you decide to go with the 90″ 4K tvs, we guarantee that. Also, we have screens used as digital posters.

Discussion unit with voting and channel selection
Abalingua is always looking for equipment that can help enhance and improve the service we provide on any event. One of the last products to join our stock of equipment are BOSCH’s DCN Discussion Unit with voting, with which the speaker can receive the interpretation directly, bypassing the need for a separate digital receiver. Over a hundred microphones are at our warehouses ready to be set anytime at any event anywhere in Europe.
This Discussion Unit with Voting enables participants to speak, register a request-to-speak, listen to the speaker and vote. A socket is provided to connect the pluggable microphones (DCN-MICS and DCN-MICL, to be ordered separately). The unit has five voting buttons for all types of voting. The yellow indicator rings around the voting buttons are used to prompt users to register their presence, to start voting and to confirm their votes. When the unit’s attendance.

BOSCH DOMO Cameras
One of the latest purchases Abalingua has carried out are several HD Conference Domes from BOSCH. The HD Conference Dome is an extremely compact and easy to install PTZ camera with an industry standard HD-SDI output for superb HD quality video. The camera provides complete network-based control of all dome functionality including pan/tilt/zoom operation, presets as well as web-based configuration of all dome settings.
With a dome diameter of only 5.04 inches (12.8 cm), the HD Conference Dome is nearly 50% smaller than the Bosch AutoDome. These compact dimensions make the HD Conference Dome ideal for conference environments. Despite its compact design, the HD Conference Dome delivers state-of-the-art technology and features that are rare to most compact PTZ cameras. Its variable pan and tilt speeds and AutoPivot ensure optimal camera control and viewing at all zoom levels.
The high-performance 160x (10x optical/16x digital) zoom autofocus camera incorporates the latest digital imaging technology with excellent sensitivity and resolution.
